The 45174 zip code is home to a cozy population of 2300, but with a median household income over $150,000 it is one of the wealthiest communities in Cincinnati. TP borders Mariemont, Indian Hill, and Milford, which is where most residents go to eat out, do their shopping, and head to school. However, the small community does have its own Elementary School, staple restaurant, and Swim & Tennis Club.

SCHOOLS

Although Terrace Park does have its own local elementary school, it is a part of Mariemont School District, so for Junior High & High School the students have a 10-15 minute commute over to Mariemont. Mariemont Public School District was ranked the #12 Best School Districts in OH for 2019, #10 Best Places to Teach, and #4 District with the Best Teachers. In this local area, there are 4 Public Schools and 1 Private School:

  • Terrace Park Elementary
  • Mariemont Elementary
  • Mariemont Junior High
  • Mariemont High School
  • Cincinnati Waldorf School
    • Located in Mariemont
    • During 2018-2019 School Year, they enrolled over 250 students from Pre-K to Grade 9, with the future capability of teaching students up to Grade 12.
    • Tuition currently ranges from $4500 – $15000 depending on the grade level
    • Tuition can be paid in full or monthly installments, multiple sibling discounts are factored in, and tuition aid is available.

GOOD EATS

Your best bet for eating out is driving down the street to Milford or Mariemont for a variety of restaurants. Milford is home to more chain restaurants, such as: Buffalo Wild Wings, Red Robin, and Cracker Barrel with a few local restaurants mixed in, while Mariemont is just the opposite. It is home to local favorite The National Exemplar, one of two Green Papaya restaurants in Cincinnati, and a handful of pizza places, with some chains mixed in. If you are looking for a local TP restaurant, The Birch is the go-to. With excellent reviews and a homey feel, it’s worth a trip for lunch or a beer after work.

SHOPPING AND ENTERTAINMENT

Continuing with the above theme of leaving The Village of Terrace Park, most of the shopping & entertainment will be done in the surrounding cities. Be that as it may, TP is still home to a section of the Little Miami River, its own Swim & Tennis Club, Country Club, and popular Sports Field, leaving a handful of options for the residents in their own backyard.

  • TP Swim & Tennis Club
  • TP Country Club
  • Drackett Field → Home to many sports games
  • Little Miami River
