Named after the coastal mountain range in Israel, the community of Mt. Carmel – although not its own city or township yet – is home to over 4,700 Clermont County residents. The area is structured as a squared off pocket of land that lies between State Route 32, 275, and Clough Pike. Across the highway, you’ll find familiar Cincinnati staples, such as Jungle Jim’s and the Eastgate Mall.

SCHOOLS

Mt. Carmel is located in the West Clermont School District, giving the local residents 10 public school options. The district schools include: West Clermont Preschool, Withamsville-Tobasco Elementary, Willowville Elementary, Summerside Elementary, Merwin Elementary, Holly Hill Elementary, Clough Pike Elementary, Amelia Elementary, West Clermont Middle School, and West Clermont High School.

Additionally, Mt. Carmel has a private school right in its backyard – St. Veronica, home to students in Pre K – 8th Grade.
