Located an almost equidistant drive from Oxford, Dayton, Downtown Cincinnati, and the Indiana border, Hamilton, affectionately known as the “City of Sculptures,” is a rural city, with a transforming downtown area. With over 60,000 residents, the city is preserving its historical roots, while simultaneously adjusting to business and cultural developments of the 21st century. One of their programs in particular, Sustainable Hamilton, is a report of their achievements and highlights their current initiatives to not only move towards monitoring their city’s environmental footprint, but their economic and social prosperity as well.
