Councours d’Elegance

We normally use today to highlight a great festival that doesn’t get enough publicity. But we are diverting from that today to let you all know about a great cause event happening this weekend; Concours d’Elegance.

For those in this area that are gearheads or motorcycle nuts, you know what Concours is already. But for those new to the area, or just up for an experience you haven’t had before, Concours is a car, truck and motorcycle show that benefits The Arthritis Foundation.

The show is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary this year on Sunday. From a small beginning at the home of William and Helen Williams in 1978, to a show that this year will enlist hundreds (a little over 200 to be precise) of automobiles and take up most of beautiful Ault Park. There will be 19 different classes in which the vehicles will be shown and judged, including this year’s special display classes Camaro & Firebird, Tuners-Custom, and Tuners Factory-backed.

There will be a craft beer garden this year to quench your thirst (we hear it might get a little hot & humid on Sunday), wonderful food including a separate brunch event at 11 a.m., and other entertainment.

But the best part is that a large portion of the proceeds will benefit the Arthritis Foundation and the great work they do. That’s 40 years of contributing to those suffering with debilitating afflictions like severe rheumatoid arthritis.

If you’re wild about cars, trucks, motorcycle or autos of all kinds then block of some time this Sunday to have a great time will support a wonderful cause. You can fin all the information, including the full weekend of events, Sunday’s schedule, and more by clicking here.

Make it a great one!
